What services does Wags and Whiskers offer?

Wags and Whiskers Little Rock offers you FULL service pet care!   Private on-leash walks/runs, in-home pet visits, in-home overnight sitting, morning, noon and/or evening care, taxi service, and house sitting.

We have mature trustworthy pet sitters and ensure that if anything happens to your personal pet sitter, your pet care will continue, uninterrupted. With years of pet care experience, Wags and Whiskers sitters love what they do! Our sitters are drawn to the care of animals and are concerned, compassionate caregivers. Unlike the kid next door, family member, or friend,  Wags and Whiskers sitters have devoted themselves to providing your pet the best possible care.

Are you bonded and insured? What does that mean for me as a client?

Yes! We are fully bonded and insured, and a proud member of National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. As a member of NAPPS, one of the largest governing organizations in the pet care industry, we are required to abide by the highest of standards of care.

What this means to you is peace of mind!  We will take responsibility for your pets and possessions when you put them in our care. That means that your property and your pets are fully covered, should anything occur while in our care. Having these policies in place shows a level of professionalism and commitment that you can trust. We will provide professional, reliable, loving care for your pets.

What kind of pets do you care for?

Wags and Whiskers Little Rock Pet Sitting cares for many dogs, cats, and birds. We have now added snakes, rabbits, squirrels, chickens, and horses!  We enjoy all creatures so please let us know if you have a special pet or unusual need. We will do our very best to meet your expectations.

Wags and Whiskers covers the areas of Little Rock and all surrounding areas. 

What does WAGS AND WHISKERS LITTLE ROCK Pet Care Guarantee mean to me?

Wags and Whiskers of Little Rock will absolutely guarantee your satisfaction with every pet sitting service provided.  Simply make us aware of any dissatisfaction you may have had within 15 day of service and we will make it right. It is that simple. References are available upon request!   

Can I make last minute arrangements with Wags and Whiskers Little Rock?

YES!  Please give as much notice as possible but we have many clients who have hectic work schedules and need us on an as-needed basis.  There is a charge for all visits requested without a 24 hour notice.  

What if my pet should require the care of a veterinarian while I am away?

We hope this will never happen, but we have a plan for this - just in case. When services are scheduled, we will ask you the name of your pet's veterinarian. We will ask for all contact information. We will ask whether the sitter has permission to have your pet treated in your absence, should the need arise. We have a Veterinarian Release form for you to sign and for us to keep in your pet's file. This form will provide your vet with your information about your wishes and your financial arrangement, thus allowing your sitter to have your pet treated.

Will my pet receive personal attention?

Absolutely! This is the main focus of our service. Providing love and affection, so your pet will not be stressed by your absence. Each time your sitter visits your home to care for your pet, he or she will spend quality time with your pet. The sitter will take your pet for a walk or go outside in the backyard, talk to your pet, and play games.

How will I know my sitter completed all scheduled visits?

Your sitter will log in daily. The sitter will note the time of day he or she arrived, if your pets were fed at that time, whether the plants were watered, whether pet accidents were cleaned up, etc.   

What is the "Meet and Greet"?

The Meet and Greet takes approximately thirty minutes to one hour.   All new clients will be scheduled for a free initial consultation and interview.    During this time, the service owner, Michelle Wilkerson, will meet with you and have an opportunity to interact with the pets and go over all contracts, policies, and guidelines.   Home care and pet care details, including how many visits a day, will be discussed.   Your pet sits will be scheduled accordingly.   The consultation and initial paperwork will only need to be done once.   After that, simply call to schedule pet sitting services in the future.

How does your service work?

Your personal pet sitter will arrive at your home for each 30 minute visit.   During this time your pets will be played with, cuddled, and loved.   Dogs can be walked upon request for no extra fee.   All standard pet care will be administered; feeding, watering, litter scooping, cage cleaning and also cleaning of any accidents that might be made in the house. 

Home care is included with all pet sitting fees.  This means that your mail, newspapers, and any package deliveries left at the door will be brought in.    In addition, potted plants can be watered (extensive watering will be charged accordingly) and your trash taken to curb on pick up day.    We are happy to set your security system.  

Would you send just anyone to my home?

Absolutely not! We take the security, safety and privacy of your home very seriously.   A Wags and Whiskers sitter will be the only person allowed in your home.  CHILDREN, FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS will not accompany a sitter to care for your pets.  Wags and Whiskers also carries commercial liability insurance and is bonded for your added protection and peace of mind.
